Job Description

What does a Claims Consultant do?

As a Claims Consultant, you'll assess life insurance claims when customers are impacted by illness or injury and are unable to work for a period of time.

You will be our customers main service provider. Some of your work will include:

  • Review insurance policies and claim information
  • Analyse medical, vocational and financial documentation
  • Assess eligibility against the cover they have
  • Apply professional judgement to make fair decisions
  • Communicate outcomes clearly and confidently
  • Partner with customers and stakeholders throughout the claims process
  • Provide benefit payments and support.

This is highly engaging role where every claim presents unique circumstances and requires thoughtful decision making.

Qualifications

What will you bring?
