Job Description

At TAL, this role plays a meaningful part in shaping trusted digital experiences that support Australians when it matters most. Working across our Investments and Super Platform, you’ll help turn business and customer insight into thoughtful, well‑designed solutions that enable confidence, clarity and progress. Your work contributes directly to TAL’s purpose of protecting people through life’s moments, while fostering a culture of innovation, quality and continuous improvement—where ideas are valued, collaboration is strong, and what you do each day makes a genuine difference.

In this role you will:

  • Deliver value‑led analysis by translating business and customer needs into clear, actionable solutions across the Investments and Super Platform.
  • Improve customer and commercial outcomes by identifying and driving process and system enhancements that increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Technology, Product and Operations to shape solutions that meet shared client and business objectives.
  • Enable successful change by supporting end‑to‑end delivery, from requirements through testing, implementation and post‑release review.
  • Support platform reliability and adoption by assisting with deployments, incidents and operational issues impacting clients and users.
  • Strengthen team capability by contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge‑sharing and technical excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bring strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, assessing business, process and technology impacts to inform sound solution design.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly, translating complex requirements into shared understanding across business and technology teams.
  • Contribute effectively within agile delivery, supporting sprint planning, story elaboration and iterative delivery in a technology environment.
  • Facilitate structured workshops to unpack business problems and drive alignment on fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
  • Identify and manage delivery risk, considering commercial, technical and operational impacts and supporting practical mitigation.
  • Apply disciplined time and priority management to deliver quality outcomes in a fast‑paced platform environment.
