Job Description
We are seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer with strong foundational knowledge in Windows and Linux server administration, who can support cloud infrastructure operations with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Azure platform services, networking basics, active directory, and backup/storage solutions. Exposure to DevOps practices and Agile methodology is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor Azure cloud environments and on-prem hybrid workloads. 
- Perform routine operations tasks including server patching, backup monitoring, performance tuning, and incident response. 
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux Server platforms. 
- Support basic cloud networking tasks such as subnetting, NSG rules, and VPN configurations. 
- Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory and other identity-related components. 
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve issues and deliver operational support. 
- Document runbooks, SOPs, and operational procedures. 
- Participate in change management, incident response, and post-incident analysis. 
- Work in an Agile environment and engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. 
Must-Have Skills:
- Windows Server Administration 
- Linux Server Administration (basic to intermediate level) 
- Basic knowledge of Azure Networking and Active Directory 
- Familiarity with backup tools and cloud storage services 
- Understanding of DevOps concepts and Agile principles 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid work model 
Good-to-Have Certifications:
(Not mandatory but preferred)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) 
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) 
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) 
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
