Solution Architect / Technical Product Owner

Location: Pune / Bengaluru

Experience: 15+ years

As a Product Owner, you will design innovative software solutions as part of Deutsche Telekom's digitization strategy.  In the projects, you are responsible for the implementation of the architecture concepts up to the finished solution by leading a scrum team of 7-8 developers and testers.

 This includes the following tasks and areas of responsibility:

• Design of cloud-based applications in the area of product development, network differentiation or network control
• Advising our customers, the development teams and the management
• Analysis of functional and non-functional requirements
• Support in the preparation of offers and in cooperation with offshore entities
• Active participation in DevOps activities
• Cooperation with specialists from other group units on security, monitoring, integration, etc.
• Technical support and implementation of pilot projects and scenarios for the customers
• Development of application scenarios, use cases, demos, reference architectures and the sales arguments that can be derived accordingly
• Preparation of pitches and presentations for decision-makers on the customer side, including technical briefing and well-founded background information
• Active participation in acquisition projects and in our internal communities

You have at least 15+ years of professional experience as an IT architect. In addition, you convince with the following knowledge and skills:

• Very good understanding of customer needs, the methods of capturing them and the ability to use this information in creating customized cloud-based solutions for our customers
• Extensive experience and knowledge in projects in the field of Telecom in areas like RAN config management, OSS order management
• Good understanding on O-RAN architecture and O-RAN alliance specifications
• Excellent knowledge of effective consulting methods, tools and processes and the ability to advise our customers on cloud products, technologies, services and solutions and to provide prepared technical information
• Very good knowledge and skills to design and implement public cloud or Kubernetes based applications that are highly available and scalable
• Very good knowledge and skills in the development of cloud-native applications using Java and/or Python technologies
• Strong ability to select the appropriate public cloud services based on requirements to design and deploy an application
• Deep understanding of DevOps tools and the agile philosophy for overarching and company-wide collaboration between developers, testers and managers
• Proven experience and track record in acquiring projects

• 15+ years in IT architecture, with expertise in telecom – OSS, Service Management, Inventory Modelling, Service design and configuration management, RAN config.
• Strong knowledge of O-RAN architecture and cloud/Kubernetes-based applications
• Proficient in Java/Python and public cloud services
• Experience in DevOps, agile methods, and customer consulting
• Proven track record in project acquisition
