To support this mission, Syngenta’s Supply team supporting the Seeds Business for Wheat and Soybean crops is seeking a Seeds Supply & Scheduling Planner in Vicente Lopez or Venado Tuerto, Argentina. This role will: manage supply planning and seed packaging scheduling, ensuring product availability according to demand, quality, and business timelines; establish and maintain relationships with key supply, production, finance, and commercial partners; and, will be responsible for inventory management, material and input flow, and production plan follow-up.
Accountabilities
- Calculate input requirements, manage purchase requests (Solped), and follow up on deliveries and reception in SAP.
- Build and coordinate packaging plans with tollers: input shipment, order creation, batch generation (ZP29), and order closure.
- Manage the creation and update of SKUs, BOMs, and product specifications.
- Coordinate paired activities with NPI, identify export lots, and manage sample requests.
- Manage discards: cut-off sheets, coordination with sales, logistics, and finance.
- Consolidate demand orders (Marketing, DP, Trialing) and manage product availability.
- Build, coordinate, and follow up on the SPP (Seed Production Plan).
- Update and present production reports: monthly ME, weekly BPR, Power BI dashboards for availability and quality.
- Manage exports: samples, certificates, logistics coordination, and SKU extensions.
- Participate in weekly production, quality, and planning meetings.
- Follow up launches: INASE registration, SKU creation, planting plan, and base estimates.
- Interact with Customer Service and portfolio areas as needed by the business.
- Build and follow up on Write-Off (WO) and participate in VPC.
Qualifications
Required
- Logistics professional, Industrial Engineer, or similar with knowledge in planning and production processes for Seeds businesses (desirable) or other industries.
- Financial skills related to supply chain processes.
- Advanced level of English (mandatory).
- 4 years of experience in supply planning or scheduling environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic vision skills.
- Ability to foresee future impacts on actual and potential events.
- Resilient, results-oriented, and teamwork profile.
- Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, Smartsheet, and AI tools.
