To support this mission, Syngenta is seeking a Finance Accountant A2R in Pune. This role will support the delivery of accurate IFRS and statutory reporting compliance while developing comprehensive business operation insights. The role requires analysing results, identifying opportunities, and building strong relationships across finance functions. The position leverages data analytics and operational excellence to enhance reporting quality while serving as the primary contact for business countries within the ATR process organization.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain accurate business transaction recording in ERP systems following IFRS and local GAAP requirements
• Coordinate with Finance Frontline organization to verify account accuracy and provide substantiation
• Manage legal entity matters and provide financial solutions and advisory
• Support audit processes and drive timely issue resolution
• Lead SAP S4 HANA implementation initiatives with cross-functional teams
• Oversee trial balance reviews and implement Internal Control Frameworks

Core Competencies

• Professional Finance qualification (CA, ICWA, or equivalent)
• Bachelor's/Master's/MBA in Economics or Finance
• 8-10 years' experience in multinational environment
• Proven expertise in A2R activities for large multinational organizations
• Strong proficiency in SAP and ERP systems
• Demonstrated stakeholder management experience in multi-country settings
• Excellence in accounting reconciliations and treatments

• Strong commitment to data accuracy and service excellence
• Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively
• Experience in cross-functional matrix organizations
• Detail-oriented with self-driven work approach
• Demonstrated team leadership capabilities
