Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies for Syngenta's global digital presence.
  • Conduct keyword research relevant to the agricultural sector and analyze competitors' SEO performance across different regions.
  • Optimize website content, structure, and metadata for improved search engine rankings, considering multi-lingual and multi-regional factors.
  • Collaborate with content, development, and regional marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented globally.
  • Monitor and analyze global SEO KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and execute content strategies tailored for different countries, aligning with local market needs and global SEO objectives.
  • Provide SEO and SERP support to local teams in various countries, ensuring consistent implementation of best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, techniques, and algorithm updates, particularly those affecting the agricultural and scientific sectors.
  • Work closely with the GDM team to align SEO strategies with overall digital marketing objectives.
  • Integrate AI capabilities into processes and tools required to achieve goals set by the GDM team, enhancing SEO efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing and/or relevant certifications in digital marketing, SEO, and/or SERP (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, Moz, HubSpot Inbound Marketing)
  • 5+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of improving search rankings and organic traffic in a global or multi-regional context.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Semrush, Brightedge, or similar platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO techniques, best practices, and search engine algorithms.
  • Experience in global SEO strategy development and implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with web analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience with latest SEO AI technologies and their practical applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • SEO and SERP certifications.
  • Experience in Digital Marketing Analytics.
  • Familiarity with the agricultural sector or related scientific fields.

This is a Fixed Term Contractual Role

Additional Information

  • This is a full-time, remote position.
  • The role is part of the Global Digital Marketing (GDM) team at Syngenta.
  • No direct leadership responsibilities, but collaboration with global teams is essential.
