To support that challenge, the Formulation & Packaging team is currently seeking a Technical Engineering Co-op in Omaha, NE.

  Estimated Duration: January 2025 – August 2025 

You will: 

  • Provide process engineering support to increase manufacturing capacity, improve safety / quality and reduce manufacturing costs  
  • Leverage process engineering capability to support production process continuous improvement using operational excellence resources promoted by Syngenta  
  • Support capital project work from scoping through installation under technical supervision  
  • Assist in the design and technical supervision of plant studies and contribute to the design of final project installation   
  • Develop personal skills and ways of working while being mentored by the team that is excited about your development and what you will contribute with this internship and in the future   

Qualifications

What you must have:  

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Petroleum Engineering 
  • Fluent in English

  • Prefer a student with a Junior class standing  
  • Communication-The ability to communicate information well (both written and spoken) is highly desired in this position 
  • Collaboration-The ability to work with individuals who come from diverse backgrounds 
  • Organization-The ability to prioritize and plan your workload to make optimum use of your time 
  • Able to present experimental results and communicate ideas and proposals in a clear, structured and concise manner 
  • Eagerness to learn/contribute, and always seeking opportunities to grow in the role
