Job Description
ROLE PURPOSE:
- Manage efficient Warehouse Operations (Customer Order Deliveries, Good Warehousing Practices and Stocks Handling) maintaining the OTIF and high warehousing standards.
- Implement at the warehouse level various processes related to Customer Order Deliveries, Warehouse Operations Management and Stocks Handling.
- Implementation of Internal Control & guidelines in customer services operation.
- Implementation of Syngenta HSE MS at warehouse.
Inventory Management
- Customer Order Deliveries in an efficient and cost-effective manner facilitating in maintaining the OTIF standard of 95%
- Warehouse Management, in relevant areas, in an effective manner ensuring compliance to all internal and external requirements
- Implementation of Syngenta HSE Guidelines at the warehouse level
- Implementation of Syngenta Internal Control Guidelines in the relevant areas and ensuring all risks are identified, adequately assessed and mitigated
- Managing safe and efficient stocks handling at the warehouse.
- Training of warehouse staff to carry out their roles efficiently.
- Training of warehouse staff on MSDS and product handling and segregations.
- Monitoring of slow mover / non mover stock to avoid inventory losses
- Managing the sale of near expiry product with the help of Logistics, CS & other warehouse colleagues to support the company business & avoid the inventory losses
HSE & Compliance
- Ensure compliance of Code of Conduct at site
- Ensure HSE compliance in warehouse operations, follow CoP 602 and guidelines
- Ensure Fire Safety, Spill control & Chemical exposure controls in place
- Ensure vehicles safety check list is in place for loading and unloading vehicles
- Ensure Financial compliance in customers order processing
- Ensure Financial compliance in expense management
- Ensure information security controls are in place
- Ensure site security guidelines and controls are in place
- Ensure compliance of local laws and regulations.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintaining cordial relations with all concerned government agencies e.g. Fire Brigade, EPA, Social Security, Plant Protection, EOBI, Civil Defense, Rescue 1122 & 115 etc.
- Maintenance of liaison with other functions for issues handling as well as carrying out the day to day activities
Qualifications
- Critical Knowledge: HSE, Stocks Handling, Warehouse Operations, Regulations of the Pesticide Industry, Syngenta processes and all relevant company Policies & Procedures
- Critical Experience: 3-5 years as a Warehouse Officer
- Critical Functional Competencies (Skills/Capabilities): Networking, Interpersonal and Performance Management skills
