Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced HR Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. As part of the HR Team, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing various HR operational functions, with a focus on payroll administration and other key processes for our organization in Spain and Portugal.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes for our Spanish employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations, collective agreements, and company policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in labor laws, social security, and tax regulations, and implement necessary updates in the payroll system.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Finance and Legal departments, to ensure seamless integration of HR processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries, including salary calculations, deductions, and benefits.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy in the HR information system.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and related activities.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of HR systems, with a particular focus on SAP HR modules.
  • Generate reports and analyze payroll data to support management decision-making processes.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, providing expertise in HR operations and payroll administration.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in HR operations (+5 years of experience), with a strong focus on payroll administration for Spanish employees.
  • Knowledge of Spanish labour laws, social security, and tax regulations. 
  • Previous experience in a multinational company is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP HR modules is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excel skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration or Labor Relations specializing in HR.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish Labor, social security and tax regulations.

Languages

  • Spanish and English fluency are a must.
  • Portuguese is desirable.
