To support that challenge, the Vero Beach Research Center team is currently seeking a Weed Control Intern. As an intern, you will shadow and assist scientists while they conduct greenhouse, laboratory, and field research with emphasis in profiling new active ingredients. You will also participate in data generation and summaries to develop recommendations on the appropriate use of chemical and application technology.

You will: 

  • Assist in a trialing program that generates high-quality data  
  • Perform timely and complete reporting of data, reports and summaries 
  • Work as part of a cohesive team to provide research solutions 

Estimated Duration: May 2024 – August 2024 

Qualifications

What you must have: 

  • Enrollment in a Master’s or PhD degree from an accredited university in Weed Science or related agricultural disciplines  
  • Fluent in English
