Job Description
To ensure delivery of maintenance activities and goals to meet business objectives.
To drive medium- and long-term improvements for the area in HSE, maintenance and cost performance.
To develop area maintenance resources to meet current and future HSE and plant engineering requirements.
- Leadership and technical support to maintenance engineers/teams and operations groups to maximise plant availability to meet business needs.
- To define and deliver an Area HSE Engineering Improvement Programme.
- To develop and deliver strategic area Sustenance plans.
- To deliver area maintenance costs to budget and to analyse and deliver efficient optimisation of maintenance costs.
- Review and optimise maintenance strategies for your area in line with production, supply chain and product strategies. Implement best practice maintenance techniques to improve reliability efficiency.
- Engineering availability - analysis of OEE and CMMS data, identify and implement reliability improvement programmes to ensure equipment performance meets business needs and plant maintenance strategy targets.
- Development of maintenance team’s capability to meet future business and industry needs. Delivering technical and personal development plans for the area.
- Manufacturing Excellence - leading or active member on defined priorities involving engineering.
Qualifications
- Highly experienced maintenance professional, typically with a minimum five years’ experience.
- Leadership and line management experience.
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance systems in a chemical processing environment.
- Professional qualification at degree level.
