To support that challenge, Syngenta's Finance team is currently seeking a I2P (Invoice to Pay) Business Partner in Greensboro, NC.

The I2P Business Partner is responsible for owning the payments process, managing DOA (Delegation of Authority), and to providing audit and project support as needed.

• Own the payments process for North America
  • Manage stakeholders related to payment processes, including improvement opportunities and input on various meetings and initiatives
  • Review and execute local payment proposals, adhering to controls and Compliance requirements
  • Own and execute the biannual escheats process, which includes stakeholder communication, generation of related reports, management of the third-party, and coordination with AP to move money appropriately
  • Participate in the management of the relationships between the disbursement teams and banks
• Own the Delegations of Authority (DOA) process
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure DOA compliance and knowledge
  • Maintain the DOA, working closely with Compliance and Legal to ensure timeliness and accuracy
  • Generate and publish related reports, being available to stakeholders for analysis
  • Participate in the automation of the DOA and the related app
  • Manage the Approvals Matrix as a subset of the DOA
• Manage the Role Approval process for I2P
  • Access the approver database, analyze requests, and action appropriately while maintaining the Segregation of Duties
  • Coordinate with requesters and stakeholders when necessary to align appropriate roles
• Support various processes and projects
  • Collaborate on various I2P transformation projects
  • Participate on cross-functional projects and meetings, supplying I2P knowledge and expertise
  • Provide documentation and input when required for audits (internal and external)

• A Bachelor’s degree is required preferably in Finance, Accounting, and/or related field
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship support from Syngenta
