Job Description

Your mission: 

To reinforce the Synechron Switzerland team, we are looking for a Technical Business Analyst. Our mission is for one of our clients, a Private Bank in Geneva

You will be part of the delivery team as a Technical Business Analyst, responsible for analyzing, documenting and improving core reference data registers and the related end-to-end processes across the fund administration and distribution lifecycle.  

  • Leading and supporting process-improvement and automation initiatives (RPA, AI, workflow automation, data integration), covering end-to-end activities from requirements gathering and documentation to UAT coordination, implementation and post-go-live monitoring.
  • Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, understanding business needs, managing expectations, and maintaining clear and transparent communication.
  • Analyzing complex data sets from both relational and non-relational databases, identifying inconsistencies and root causes, and proposing relevant solutions supported by scripts or small programs (SQL, Python or similar).
  • Extracting, structuring and interpreting data to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting change-management activities by preparing training materials, delivering workshops, and training operational and distribution teams on new or enhanced functionalities.
  • Contributing to daily support activities by analyzing data-related issues and coordinating their resolution with the appropriate technical or business teams.

Qualifications

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have relevant experience as a Technical Business Analyst, ideally in a data-intensive or process-driven environment.
  • You have hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL programming.
  • You are proficient in data extraction and analysis tools (Python, Swagger, Oracle SQL & PL/SQL) and familiar with big-data environments and mastering systems.
  • You are experienced in drafting epics and user stories and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in an agile setup.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly.
  • Experience in developing and optimizing AI prompts to support business analysis activities is considered a strong asset.
  • You have excellent communication skills, and you feel comfortable presenting findings to senior management.
  • You speak French and English fluently.
  • You have a Swiss Residency.
