Job Description
Your mission:
To reinforce the Synechron Switzerland team, we are seeking for an experienced Cutover Business Lead. Our mission is for one of our clients, a Private Bank in Geneva
Your responsibilities:
- Defining the business cutover scope, governance model, roles, and decision-making processes.
- Establishing business readiness criteria, freeze rules, and control mechanisms across all business units involved in the transition.
- Ensuring alignment and coordination across Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Front Office, and other impacted departments.
- Designing and validating business transition states, including ramp-down, ramp-up, coexistence, and interim operating procedures.
- Coordinating business tasks across multiple streams and ensuring their integration into cutover artefacts such as chronograms, runbooks, and rosters.
- Leading preparation activities, including reconciliations, manual workarounds, early month-end processes, rejection handling, and remediation actions.
- Overseeing the execution of business activities during rehearsals and go-live phases, while ensuring compliance with defined readiness criteria.
- Monitoring risks, issues, and dependencies across business streams and proactively escalating deviations when required.
- Providing clear, consistent reporting and communication to the Cutover Project Manager and program leadership.
Qualifications
Your profile and skills:
- You have a strong understanding of business processes, operational workflows, and regulatory requirements within a banking environment.
- You demonstrate expertise in transition planning, business readiness frameworks, and operational risk controls.
- You are able to analyze cross-stream impacts, reconcile data, and define effective interim operating procedures.
- You bring hands-on experience in business operations, transformation initiatives, or cutover and go-live delivery roles.
- You have experience coordinating cross-functional business teams during system migrations or major operational changes.
- You are familiar with regulated financial environments, with a strong understanding of banking operations.
- You possess excellent communication skills.
- You can easily work in English and French.
- You are a Swiss resident or willing to relocate.
