Job Description
You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining and supporting our next generation platform responsible for call rating. This is a full stack, hands-on role that will be developing new features for our customers which meet the needs of our business. As a graduate engineer, your role will involve building with best practices and resiliency in mind, adhering to agile processes and dealing with business and technology stakeholders.
Impact you will make in this role: You will be responsible for solutioning, developing, deploying, and supporting our new microservice based rating platform. The platform is responsible for pricing product usage across our global voice network (Australia, NZ, Singapore & Malaysia).
After hours support: There is an expectation that this role is part of the teams after hours support roster (level 3). We also understand that as a business we need to do everything we can to ensure our platforms are resilient and self-healing and engineering leadership will provide the time to make sure we do.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
- Object orientated programming knowledge
- Java, Golang or Python experience
- Desire to learn and drive efficiency
- You are a person who continually self learns and improves your technical skillsets
- Are curious, tenacious, creative, but are also a great team player
- Bonus points for experience in AWS (or other cloud technologies)
