Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst (TBA) to join our team in Sydney.  Reporting to Data Governance Lead, this role provides process and technical domain support, working closely with the Product Team, analyse and elicit business requirements, conduct detailed gap analysis, engage stakeholders, and produce agreed documentation and process improvements which supports Product Owners and Managers in the development and reporting of the products.

What you'll do as a Technical Business Analyst (TBA):

  • Work with customers and internal teams to gather, validate, and document new product development requirements.
  • Improve existing products, processes and documentation within Symbio
  • Analyse and elicit business requirements and develop and document processes.
  • Engage with a range of stakeholders across the business. 
  • Produce agreed documentation that supports Product Managers and other stakeholders in the development and ongoing lifecycle support of Symbio products.
  • Perform system analyses on software, voice applications, and web services.
  • Efficiently integrate new systems and applications with business operations and services

Qualifications

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business or Business Analytics, Data
  • At least 2 -3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Possesses good Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Strong analytical skills for process development
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills, with ability to work in a team environment.
  • Understanding of process mapping / change management methods & tools e.g. Visio
  • Experience with data analytics and Data Warehouse
  • Previous experience in an IT or Telecom experience (beneficial)
