Job Description
You will join the Banking Solutions team, whose mission is to ensure the stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of critical banking applications.
The team works closely with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders, including internal users (primarily Finance, ALM, Back Office, and Compliance), software developers, auditors, and technical IT teams.
In this role, you will contribute both from an operational and technical perspective, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while supporting project implementations and driving automation initiatives.
You will play a key role in aligning business needs, regulatory requirements, and technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Gain a strong understanding of end-to-end operational business flows in order to actively contribute and propose appropriate technical solutions that meet both business and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and monitor support tickets, handling them directly when possible and coordinating with technical or development teams when escalation is required.
- Participate in project implementations, including functional and technical analysis, testing phases, and go-live preparation.
- Administer, support, and maintain several core banking and satellite applications, including:
- T24
- Bobatools
- GTExchange
- GTFrame
- GTMatch
- Hypersuite
- Actively promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies, suggesting enhancements, and implementing best practices, including automation where relevant.
- Define, monitor, and maintain KPIs to measure system performance, operational efficiency, and service quality.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing required documentation, explanations, and operational support.
Qualifications
- More than 3 years of experience in the banking sector, preferably in an operational or application support role.
- Highly organised and autonomous, with the ability to manage priorities independently.
- Curious and solution-oriented, with a strong interest in understanding complex systems and problem-solving.
- Strong stress management skills, able to operate effectively in a demanding and time-sensitive environment.
