Job Description
We are looking for a talented Social Media Specialist to manage our social media channels and communications directed at private clients, intermediaries and institutional segments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain our social media communications plan and calendar
- Create distinctive and engaging content that stands out and is tailored to achieve our organisational objectives
- Work closely with our Events Manager, Communications Manager and sources of content generation to sustain daily frequency of posts
- Actively participate in the organisation, promotion and delivery of events and produce audio-visual event coverage
- Handle social media tasks for channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and X
- Measure, analyse and report performance of social media initiatives, maintain performance dashboards, and surface recommendations to continuously optimise results
Qualifications
- At least three years prior experience in social media management, with a proven track of managing successful social media campaigns
- Proficient in managing social media channels and analytics platforms
- Skills in writing highly-engaging short-form content
- Strong project management skills
- Proficient at photo, video and illustration editing
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong experiential marketing and creative skills
- Ability to multitask, problem solve and think independently
- Proactive, self-sufficient and resourceful
