As a Legal Officer, you will be part of the Legal & Compliance department. Amongst others, your tasks will typically be the following:

• Review, negotiate and draft contracts and/or any other documentation of the Bank
• Take care of requests from and manage contact with FINMA or other authorities
• Take care of complaints or litigation matters
• Provide legal support to the management of the Bank as well as to subsidiaries of the Bank (including abroad)
• Provide appropriate legal support and advice to other staff of the Bank
• Provide legal analysis of new services and activities of the Bank
• Prepare legal research on banking & financial law and monitor regulatory changes
• Write, implement and review internal policies and procedures

• Master degree in Law, preferably from a Swiss university
• Previous work experience in the legal field is a plus
• Perfect command of English and French with very good command of German
• Strong drafting capacities, e.g. of contracts or procedures
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong team-working and collaboration skills
• Ability to monitor and organise own workload and meet work objectives
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
• Self-motivation
