Job Description
We are looking for a Cloud Network Engineer to join our team and support the design, deployment, and operation of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. This role combines expertise in AWS networking, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Kubernetes, and DevOps practices to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of production environments. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience managing cloud networking, VPNs, firewalls, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud networking components, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, NAT gateways, and VPN connections.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to networking, Kubernetes clusters, AWS services, VPN connectivity, and cloud infrastructure.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes networking, authentication, and cluster connectivity.
- Configure and maintain secure connectivity between AWS resources such as EC2, RDS, and other cloud services.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support and improve CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub).
- Implement cloud security best practices, including traffic encryption, firewall policies, IAM authentication, and network access controls.
- Support database infrastructure, including RDS networking, parameter groups, and connectivity.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Networking, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including VPC, EC2, RDS, IAM, VPN, Security Groups, Route Tables, and Load Balancers.
- Strong experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters, including networking and authentication.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPN technologies (IPsec), and network security principles.
- Experience supporting production environments and resolving infrastructure incidents.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and source control platforms such as GitHub.
- Experience with Linux system administration and scripting is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- English proficiency: B2 or higher.
