Job Description

IBM DataPower Management: Administer and manage IBM DataPower appliances, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
Development & Integration: Design, implement, and maintain DataPower solutions for secure application integration, including XML, SOAP, RESTful services, and more.
Security Configuration: Implement security measures for web services (SSL/TLS, WS-Security, etc.), ensuring the protection of sensitive data.
Incident & Problem Management: Troubleshoot, resolve issues, and ensure high availability of DataPower systems by analyzing logs, performance metrics, and resolving faults promptly.
Automation & Scripting: Automate routine tasks, system monitoring, and reporting using scripts and tools.
Collaboration & Team Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as application development, infrastructure, security, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and data flow. Lead a team of developers/administrators, providing technical guidance and support.
Upgrades & Patching: Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and hotfixes for the DataPower environment to maintain system integrity and security.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation for DataPower configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Provide regular reports on system health and performance.
Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational best practices.
Expertise in IBM APIC, IBM Datapower.
• Design and develop API and SOA solutions using DataPower, APIC
• Expertise in managing organizations, products and writing yamls in APIC.
• Capable of creating WSP, MPG in DP and excellent knowledge in XSLT programming.
• Capable of identifying, troubleshooting and fixing production issues
• Provide guidance on Datapower functionality related to design
• Experience in working Agile environments and be a shared resource across multiple teams.
• Skilled problem solvers with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions.
• Flexible and adaptable attitude, disciplined to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments.
• Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
• Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
• Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.
 

Qualifications

Data Power / APIC JD
Qualification:
Bachelor / master’s in engineering, MCA or equivalent
Experience: 7-9 years
