Payroll Technical Development:
- Develop and customize Oracle EBS Payroll (US) and Benefits (US) solutions through coding and configuration, focusing on elements like earnings, deductions, tax calculations, and costings. Open enrollments and rates uploads
- Create and maintain RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) within the Payroll & Benefits module to meet business and regulatory needs.
- Perform development tasks using SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle EBS APIs specific to Payroll & Benefits functionalities.
Job Title: Oracle EBS 12.2.9 Payroll & Benefits Technical Consultant
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Oracle EBS 12.2.9 Payroll Technical Consultant with expertise in developing, coding, and managing interfaces within the payroll & benefits module, specifically for US Payroll. The role focuses on the technical side of Payroll, including development of custom solutions, integrations, and interface management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Technical Development:
- Develop and customize Oracle EBS Payroll & Benefits solutions through coding and configuration, focusing on elements like earnings, deductions, tax calculations, and costings.
- Create and maintain RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) within the payroll & benefits module to meet business and regulatory needs.
- Perform development tasks using SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle EBS APIs specific to Payroll & benefits functionalities.
- Experience in User Hooks, Web ADI and API's in HRMS.
- Proficient in writing stored procedures, packages, triggers using PL/SQL, SQL and shell scripting
- Experience in Putty and WINSCP shell scripting
- Development of Outbound Interfaces from scratch as per Business requirement.
- Experience in Xml Bursting as per business requirements and file attachment mail sent using Bursting
- Experience in Writing Payroll, Benefits & Absence Accrual new Fast Formula and debugging those formulas.
- Developing Interfaces to integrate employees and master data from SaaS HCM to oracle EBS using MuleSoft/OIC and pushing them to other Downstream Applications (Outbound Interface).
2. Interface and Integration Management:
- Design, build, and manage interfaces between Oracle EBS Payroll and other HR, Financial, and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integration points and resolve interface-related issues.
- Use web services, REST/SOAP APIs, and other tools to integrate Oracle Payroll with third-party systems.
3. Technical Troubleshooting & Support:
- Resolve technical issues in Payroll & benefits, including performance tuning, data discrepancies, and calculation errors.
- Conduct root cause analysis for Payroll interface issues and implement long-term fixes.
- Provide production support for technical aspects of Payroll, troubleshooting errors and ensuring smooth functionality.
4. Testing & Documentation:
- Prepare and execute test scripts for Payroll & benefits configurations and customizations, ensuring robust integration and accurate calculations.
- Document technical specifications, configurations, and code for interfaces and custom Payroll solutions.
- Ensure solutions are tested, documented, and meet compliance requirements.
Required Skills:
- Technical Proficiency in Oracle Payroll:
- Advanced skills in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle EBS APIs specific to Payroll and Benefits.
- Hands-on experience developing RICE components, particularly for Payroll & Benefits functionality.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Workflow, Oracle Forms, and XML Publisher for report generation.
- Interface & Integration Skills:
- Experience with Payroll & Benefits-related interfaces and integration tools.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, data mapping, and ETL tools for integration.
- Problem-Solving & Communication:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in a technical Payroll context.
- Ability to work closely with functional teams, translating technical solutions effectively.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of technical experience in Oracle EBS, with at least 5 years focused on EBS Payroll & Benefits development, particularly for US.
