Job Description

The Senior Manager - Total Rewards is responsible for managing the compensation function, develops and implements new and revised compensation programs, policies and procedures to align with the Sutherland's goals and competitive practices. He/She also conducts research and analysis in different areas involving compensation, such as compensation statistics and market analysis. This role is also responsible for ensuring that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations. 

This role gets to:

  • Manages the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs.
  • Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and company objectives.
  • Provides advice on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
  • Designs creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans.
  • Participate in due diligence and provides pricing inputs for new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate communication of compensation and benefits information.
  • Develops techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting data.
  • Oversees the participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved.
  • Ensures compliance local compensation laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Our most successful candidates will have:

  • Prior professional work experience is required, preferably in Manager role at least three years.
  • Knowledge in Willis Towers Watson/Mercer/Radford Market Surveys and Salary & Benefits Benchmarking
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proven ability to be analytical and can handle data effectively.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, handle sensitive information with discretion, and demonstrate high attention to detail.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clients.
  • Team-player who can work in a collaborative environment, cross-functionally, and globally.
  • Strong organizational and project administrations skills.
  • Demonstrated positive attitude and willingness to get the job done.
  • Highly driven and resourceful.
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage ambiguity.
