Job Description

Lead Plus Wholesale is looking for experienced Account Managers with experience in the NQM space to add to our growing Team.

Starting pay rate ranges between $25 to $34/hr DOE with additional potential for a bonus structure.

This position reports out of our Irvine Corporate Office but is offered as fully remote.  Will be required to work a regular 8 hour work week schedule Monday through Friday starting as early as 7am PST (8am MST/9am CST/10am EST) and as late as 5pm PST (6pm MST/7pm CST/8pm EST) plus possible Overtime and Weekends as needed.

What our Account Managers are responsible for:

  • Manage loans based on estimated close dates, including those aged for cancellation or denial, to ensure accurate and proactive pipeline management.
  • Follow up on suspense conditions to facilitate timely resolution.
  • Partner with Account Executives and Operations staff to manage file flow, prioritize pipelines, and handle status calls to brokers.
  • Work closely with customers to clear loans to close within expected turn times.
  • Review documents and conditions submitted electronically and notify appropriate parties of any discrepancies or missing information.
  • Update system notes with relevant details and comments about the transaction.
  • Complete all required checklists and worksheets accurately and promptly.
  • Provide status updates to all applicable parties throughout the loan process.
  • Assist clients with submitting loans, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Upload required documents and assist with submission follow-up as necessary.
  • Support clients with questions or troubleshooting related to online tools and systems.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of current or recent (within the last 12 months) experience working as an Account Manager or Loan Processor within the mortgage industry (retail, broker or wholesale experience preferred).
  • Experience with Non QM, conventional and government products and guidelines
  • Demonstrated skill in monitoring and overseeing loan production pipeline
  • Experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) Encompass 
  • Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Internet browsers
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to efficiently and consistently produce accurate work
  • Solid organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Capability of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with heavy volume of transactions
  • Proven aptitude to work in both a team and individual environment
  • Sound judgment skills essential to making quick decisions within written policy and standard operating procedures essential
  • Flexibility and time management skills.
