In the role of SAP SD/MM Specialist (m/f/x) within the SAP SD/MM Team, part of the Corporate IT Business Applications department of Straumann Group, you will act as the SAP module specialist, analyzing complex business processes and developing optimal business and technical solution concepts based on business needs. The position is based in the global HQ of Straumann Group in Basel and report to the Head of SAP SD/MM.

Your main tasks and responsibility will be:

• To take over the in-house support of SAP SD/MM as as an SAP module specialist and drive the conversion and redesign of future-proof SAP processes in our company towards SAP S/4 HANA and SAP C/4 HANA
• Advise customers responsibly and competently on the introduction and further development of SAP SD/MM
• Act as project or sub-project manager in multinational projects in the area of SAP SD/MM with focus on ongoing and proactive development of concepts and strategies
• Independent project tasks SAP based (e.g. optimization of internal processes, integration of further foreign locations, etc.)
• Evaluate new solutions/opportunities and drive changes in the SD/MM environment
• Act as a competent contact partner for our users in the sales and logistics sectors and pass on your SAP know-how locally and internationally
• Monitoring of interfaces as well as error analysis, troubleshooting and corresponding system optimizations
• Creation of process flows in ARIS, documentation, test scripts and training material mainly in English language
• Worldwide 2nd and 3rd level support in the modules SD and MM (HelpLine)

• Bachelor, academic degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or comparable qualifications
• At least 5 years’ experience as SAP module supervisor/consultant in the area of SD
• Track record of SAP projects and implementations at home and abroad, as well as extensive knowledge in customizing the SD/LE and MM modules
• Knowledge of SAP ABAP and interface techniques would be an advantage
• Strong degree of problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Demonstrated effective communication skills in the performance working with several department and functions in an international environment, with requisite drive and energy to be successful in delivering
• Excellent written and spoken English and fluent German languages skills, another language is an advantage
