Job Description

As International Quality Inspector, you ensure the final quality control and independent double-check inspections of installations (Atlas 2D racking systems) at MOVU sites across Europe, guaranteeing strict compliance with tolerances, standards, and QHSE requirements before commissioning and after client handover.

This role is positioned as an independent on-site audit function, separate from assembly and installation teams.

You act as the final level of quality validation, adopting a technical auditor mindset and serving as the guarantor of compliance, safety, and long-term durability of installations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Control & Compliance

  • Technical inspection of racking systems during installation and prior to commissioning
  • Strict verification of compliance with tolerances, standards, and technical specifications
  • Application and enforcement of QSHE standards, internal procedures, and local regulations
  • Contribution to Lean initiatives and continuous improvement

2. Independent Double Control / Over-Inspection

  • Independent posture with respect to installation teams
  • Identification of deviations, non-conformities, and quality risks
  • Approval or rejection of conformity prior to client handover

3. Reporting & Corrective Action Follow-Up

  • Drafting inspection reports using the Fieldwire App
  • Monitoring corrective actions (task management) in coordination with the Project Manager
  • Full traceability of inspections and corrective measures

4. After-sales Interventions & Post-Installation Audits

  • Post-commissioning inspections at customer sites upon request from after-sales
  • Assessment of the technical condition of racks in operation
  • Possibility of night and/or weekend interventions

Qualifications

Experience & Background

  • Background in construction, building, steel structures, or concrete
  • Strong exposure to on-site construction environments
  • Experience with quality control, technical audits, or inspections

Key Skills

  • Very high level of technical rigor
  • Strong culture of standards, tolerances, and compliance
  • Ability to say “no” when quality requirements are not met
  • Auditor/inspector mindset: independent, factual, and objective
  • Strong written communication skills for inspection reporting
  • Comfortable using digital field tools (Fieldwire, reporting systems)
  • Open for frequent international travel and working in the weekend
