Job Description
The Commissioning Manager Robotics is responsible for overseeing the installation of large-scale projects from design to completion. Manage on site commissioning activities, develop and maintain the startup plan and schedule. Utilize effective management skills and communication to deliver projects on time in full.
QSHE & Compliance
Responsible for motivating/ensuring everyone works safely and according to the stow’ QSHE standards to ensure that all work is done in a safe, efficient, and qualitative way.
Complies with the attitude of Lean and continuous improvements in the organization.
Responsible for ensuring that all executed activities and processes are in compliance with stow’ QSHE standards, policies, instructions, and local legislation.
Planning & follow up
Oversees the planning of the Commissioning Team and allocates Commissioning Site Leads to projects.
Follows up efficiency and quality of execution of onsite commissioning tasks.
Keeps track of project planning and sets priorities together with Project Management.
Plans intercontinental visits according to team interests and makes sure these visits are equally distributed across the team members.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, executing and supervising commissioning activities, ensuring quality standards and deadlines.
Manage a team of commissioning engineers, site leads and product experts
Coordinate with clients and stakeholders, create reports and records.
Ensures professional communication towards Customers of all team members
Reports any escalations to Project Management and helps build a plan to mitigate Customer escalations in the future.
Ensures clear documentation of open points before handover to Service.
Administration & other
Ensures all team information is properly stored and easily retrievable by internal stakeholders.
Ensures reports are created for every onsite visit.
Responsible for the correct registration of team working and travel hours.
Suggests and implements improvements to the administrative process.
Training & Development
Coaches the team to grow, provides and suggests training courses. Reports possible career & learning opportunities of team members.
Ensures technical escalations are shared with the Product Expert team.
Maintains and improves relevant managerial knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
- You have a bachelor's or Master degree in electromechanics or equivalent through experience
- Projects abroad do not scare you off
- You have at least 5 years experience in a simular position
- Good knowledge of Dutch/English. French or German is definitely a plus
- Computer skills: MS Office + Teams
- You are sociable, teamleader, driven and cheerful
- You're located in Belgium
