Lyndon Steel is seeking a Press Brake Operator for our second (2nd) shift.  

Current hours for 2nd shift is 5:00pm to 3:30am Monday through Friday and we offer a $2.00 shift differential.

Responsibilities include:

• Programming the press brake according to shop drawings
• Loading raw material onto the machine
• Operating the press brake to produce steel parts
• Performing daily general inspection of machine
• Maintaining clean and orderly work area
• Performs other duties as assigned

Work environment:

• May require standing for long periods of time
• Exposure to heavy machinery
• Environmental temperature changes
• Moderate noise levels

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Six (6) months experience operating a press brake
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to read shop drawings/blue prints
• Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
• Understanding of computer programming
