From estimating, detailing and design, to Erection and close out, our projects are handled in-house allowing us to adapt quickly to your project needs. Our certified welders and craftsman have the ability to weld and fabricate steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Mid-State Metals LLC is centrally located in Orlando, Florida. We have the ability to ship our custom products throughout the United States. We also erect our products on job sites throughout the Southeastern US.

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Laborer to support daily operations in our Shop.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for unloading trailers, moving materials, operating an overhead crane, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.  This role requires physical strength, attention to safety, and the flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Unload trailers and move materials to designated locations.
• Operate overhead crane to move, assemble and select materials for fabrication and shipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of shop, yard and other work areas.
• Perform heavy lifting as required (up to 50 lbs).
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Must be safety-conscious and follow all safety protocols.
• Ability to work in noisy, dusty and hot environment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Physically able to perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating overhead crane (training may be provided),
• Previous experience in a shop environment.
