Digital Transformation plays a critical role along Statkraft's entire value chains. For the Energy Management Hydro our ambition is to optimize the value of our assets and be better than the other market participants. We also have an ambition to be enabled by best-in-class platform for market activities that secures our license to operate. Based on the characteristics of our business, we develop many of our business-critical systems ourselves in-house.

For the Energy Management Hydro & Analytics department we have responsibility for digital transformation and software development squads. We have several products, platforms, frameworks and citizen developed utilities which take part in the development value stream. 

We are seeking 2 new Delivery Owners:

• one for the Short-Term Hydro Planning and Optimization products, and
• one for the Market Analysis and Forecasting products.

A successful candidate will ideally demonstrate a strong track record, supported by relevant experience, knowledge, and skills across the following areas:

• Operational ownership of the delivery backlog and pipeline; ensures the squad works against the agreed set of priorities.
• Leads the Delivery Squad's ways of working; protects focus and sustainable pace within the squad.
• Facilitates appropriate ceremonies for the squad's way of working, removes blockers, and drives continuous improvement.
• Ensures requirements and acceptance criteria are clear and understood before work enters the squad. Close collaboration with business, super users and expert users is an essential part.
• Coordinates delivery across interrelated squads and shared platforms, managing dependencies.
• Anticipates and resolves delivery risks and issues; escalates where appropriate.
• Plans, forecasts, and monitors product cost at squad / product level.
• Adheres to the agreed Operating and Collaboration Model, contributing to consistent and predictable ways of working across teams. This involves close collaboration with business capability owners, solution architects and platform owners within the capability and even across capabilities.

We are looking for candidates who are highly performing individuals with drive to create results and an ability through servant leadership to inspire and motivate people, this would be more important than ticking of all prerequisites.

The right candidate has a deep interest, motivation and experience in leading business critical IT and digitalization activities. Experience from product owner role, RTE, scrum mastering, project management, or other relevant from leading software development is highly relevant. You also acknowledge the importance of change management and are motivated by collaborating with skilled colleagues to reach ambitious product goals.  Your profile would include:

• Strong communication skills and talent for building network and trusted relationships are a necessity. Several power skills like understanding group dynamics, negotiations, etc. are preferred.
• Comfortable with leading a team of developers and coordinating work in development squads. Strong process driver with mindset to plan and structure work to ensure high-quality solutions
• Strong agile mindset, preferably also with scaled setups, and good facilitations skills are necessary. You should be familiar with using performance metrics to achieve team performance. 
• Familiar with citizen development environments is an advantage.
• A continuous improvement mindset, with experience optimizing software delivery processes. Familiarity with innovative methods is an advantage.
• Work experience from consulting companies or similar roles in global industrial or energy companies are highly relevant
• Technological understanding is relevant for building IT products, like software development, IT security, performance, scripting, architecture, etc.   
• You have higher education at university level or equivalent, and you speak English fluently and in addition preferably in one of the Scandinavian languages.
