Our Front of House Administrators help to create that vital first impression for our customers when they telephone or visit Statkraft Ireland. They are well organised, professional and enthusiastic. They are also willing and able to support different parts of the business with administrative, front of house and housekeeping duties. The front of house administrator works closely together and reports to the Office Manager.

As a member of the wider Support Team, you will be the first point of call for both external and internal enquiries; so, in order to enjoy your job, you will need to enjoy supporting and helping others.

The Support Team also plays a big part in setting the tone of the office; so, we’re looking for someone who will project a professional, enthusiastic and positive image whilst working in a busy and sometimes high-pressure environment.

This role will be on a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months due to an increase in workload.

Job Description

As the Front of House Administrator; your main responsibilities will be:

  • Be the welcoming face to all employees and visitors to the Cork Office. 
  • Handle any phone enquiries and take messages as necessary. 
  • Assist employees with any office or administrative queries. 
  • Support colleagues with general administration such as reports, presentations etc. 
  • Work with employees to support travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Work closely with IT to support smooth running of equipment and connectivity. Assist with organising in house events for colleagues.
  • Liaise with vendors, such as equipment maintenance, cleaners, Park Management when required.
  • Ensure facilities in the office are maintained to a high standard and organise repairs or maintenance as necessary. 
  • Ensure our staff canteen and stationary items are well stocked.
  • Keep track of our stationary room and order new stock as needed. 
  • Arrange Pos when requested, liaise with Finance regarding invoices.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
  • Strong IT skills are essential. Proficient in Microsoft Office  programmes, such as word, excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organisational skills, problem solving and ability to work independently
  • Interpersonal and relationship building skills are a key requirement of this role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner
