- Deliver accurate and timely validation of monthly economic balances and periodic reliquidations issued by the Coordinador Eléctrico Nacional (CEN), including those related to energy, capacity, ancillary services, transmission tolls and charges.
- Ensure the correct interpretation and integration of regulatory instruments such as technical standards, methodological reports, and official communications from the Comisión Nacional de Energía (CNE) and the Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustibles (SEC) into internal planning, compliance, and financial processes.
- Provide validated inputs for others balances, including renewable energy attributes, emission compensation, and other mechanisms affecting the company’s financial obligations.
- Generate periodic technical reports identifying regulatory risks that may affect Statkraft’s assets, including the implementation or modification of decrees, inconsistencies in market calculations, and observations on methodologies applied by regulatory entities.
- Monitor and assess observations or claims raised by other market participants or coordinated agents that could have financial or operational implications for Statkraft.
- Contribute to internal reporting and strategic decision-making by ensuring that all market-related data and regulatory updates are reflected with precision, consistency, and traceability.
Requisitos
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years in similar roles related to market operations and regulatory analysis within the electricity sector.
- Deep understanding of the Chilean electricity market and its regulatory framework. Knowledge in Technical Standards, Regulatory Annexes, ISO Methodological Reports, and official guidelines.
- Knowledge of the power generation business and its operational and economic dynamics.
- Experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading processes for regulatory and settlement databases.
- Ability to automate reporting and prepare data using Python or similar scripting tool
- Regulatory interpretation.
- Fluent in both english & spanish
