Job Description
To define enterprise architecture to meet business, regulatory, legal and policy requirements whilst simplifying the overall technology and application landscape for the Bank. To develop a technology roadmap, outlining how an aligned investment in the various technology components will support the realisation of the technology strategy, focusing on local client interactions and engagement whilst aligning to Group standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
- TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification.
- Advantageous: Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline and/or Cloud Architecture certification.
- Working knowledge of COBIT, ITIL and DAMA will be advantageous.
Experience
- 8-10 years’ relevant technology experience, including at least 3 years in an Enterprise or Solution Architecture role.
- Demonstrated experience in enterprise architecture, target-state architecture, technology standards, solution design and architecture governance.
- Experience across multiple technology domains, including applications, integration/APIs, cloud, infrastructure, data and security.
- Demonstrated experience in technology modernisation, simplification, platform rationalisation and reuse.
- Experience in banking, financial services or a similarly complex and regulated environment is preferred.

- Define and maintain the Bank’s target enterprise architecture aligned to business and technology strategy.
- Lead the Technology Design Authority and govern architecture decisions across the Bank.
- Establish and enforce technology principles, standards, patterns and approved architectures.
- Drive technology simplification, reuse, rationalisation and retirement of legacy platforms.
- Govern solution, integration, cloud, data and emerging technology architecture across the technology estate.
- Ensure architecture decisions support security, resilience, regulatory requirements and sustainable technology investment.
