Job Description

To establish and maintain excellent business relationships with underwriters, branches, internal and external customers and in the process provide a high level of satisfaction by giving effective quality service. The primary function of a Contact centre: Sales consultant is to identify the needs of a customer and provide an opportunity for those needs to be met through the purchase of an insurance product or service. Guides a potential customer to discover their specific needs and then offer the best possible solution to ensure their needs are fulfilled, exploring the conversation to identify cross selling opportunities.To promote a professional image when dealing with customers in accordance with the corporate values of SIL and SBSA.To ensure timeous and accurate validation and capture of policies and issue closings or confirmations on new business written. Contact Centre: Sales consultant should maintain contacts and build lasting relationships based on trust and integrity within the branch network to ensure that SIL is a first point of contact for all Commercial BZS Flexi / Business Insurance new insurance leads.

Qualifications

Type of Qualification: Matric certificate
Licenses & Certifications: FAIS Representative,Regulatory Exam Certificate (RE5)
Registered FSP Representative (Category 1 and Sub-Category 1.6)Fit and Proper as determined by FAIS legislation (Honesty, Integrity, and Financial Solvency)

Experience Required                                                                                                                                      Minimum 2 years of commercial insurance experience.
Broker experience advantageous.
Commercial insurance product knowledge and background required.
Call centre sales experience with a good telephone manner
Computer literate
MS office – Excel / Word / Outlook
