Our graduate programme aims to attract talent with strong technical knowledge who can become thought leaders and trusted advisors. We combine theoretical learning and practical experience, supported by rotations across the Insurance & Asset Management Technology business lifecycle. This role is designed to provide practical exposure to GRC frameworks, policies, and controls within the Insurance and Asset Management IT environment while also providing a platform to drive collaboration with assurance partners - audit, non-financial risk and compliance.
The position contributes to building a secure and well‑governed ecosystem by monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing technology controls across systems and applications.
Working within a diverse technology landscape, the role engages with:
- RMP – Risk Management
- Aravo – Third Party Risk Management
- Control First – Control Management
- Remedy – IT Service Management
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Governance
- Assist in maintaining and reviewing standards, procedures, and frameworks
- Support governance forums, including the preparation of reports
- Help track action items and compliance with approved governance decisions
Risk Management
- Support the identification, assessment, and documentation of IT risks
- Assist with maintaining risk registers and monitoring risk treatment plans
- Help with risk reporting and dashboards for management
Compliance
- Support audits (internal and external) by collecting evidence and tracking findings

Additional Information
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be under 30 years of age
- Maximum of two years work experience
- Minimum of 65% average over all years of study
