Job Description
To clarify business requirements, documenting associated user stories and acceptance criteria, through in-work collaboration with business stakeholders, cross functional teams and product owners contributing to the accurate and effective end-to-end delivery of expectations. To assume the role of scrum master within the Feature team if required

Feature Analyst Skill Set Summary - Consumer Payments Modernisation
Core Technical Competencies:
- Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment) with hands-on participation
- Strong API knowledge - RESTful principles, API specifications (Swagger/OpenAPI), payment-specific patterns (idempotency, webhooks)
- Ability to identify technical debt and design flaws early in the requirements phase
- Experience defining non-functional requirements (performance, security, availability, scalability) with ability to balance technical trade-offs
Requirements & Stakeholder Management:
- Expert at requirements elicitation across complex, cross-functional environments (Product, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Technology)
- Skilled at driving consensus among conflicting stakeholder priorities
- Strong ability to translate between technical and business language (bilingual fluency)
- Experience with regulatory compliance (PCI-DSS, PSD2, AML) and translating regulations into user stories
- End-to-end systems thinking with techniques to ensure completeness and traceability
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Uses data and analytics proactively to inform requirements and prioritization
- Experience working with Data/Analytics/BI teams to define metrics and KPIs
