Job Description

To apply Actuarial analytics, skills and insights in order to solve complex business and financial problems (particularly those involving risk) and optimize value to stakeholders. This entails the delivery of core actuarial capabilities such as Reserving, Pricing, Product Management, Experience  Monitoring, Risk Management and Financial Modelling. The results are used to design and price insurance policies, manage risk and optimize value to both our clients and shareholders.

Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Actuarial Science                                                                                                                    Professional Actuarial Exams: Completed all Actuarial Board Exams up to F100s, including F102

Experience Required

5-7 years
Experience of programming in SQL, structured query language, and other common programming languages. Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases and statistical analysis programs. Understanding of business trends and the direction technology must take to support the business.

5-7 years
Experience with and understanding of financial modelling, risk management and Products & Services within Life Insurance and other related area of financial services within the Bank (i.e. Transactional Banking, Lending, Investments etc.), such as banking, investment asset management or insurance.

5-7 years                                                                                                                                                                      The role requires a strong background in technical Actuarial Principles (i.e. Methods, Assumptions, Modelling, Calculations and Processes) as well as sufficient technical understanding to solve highly complex financial and risk management problems.
