Job Description
To support the Credit Origination Manager, Relationship Managers (RMs), and the relevant Product Heads in originating, assessing, preparing, and monitoring structured solutions credit applications for Business and Commercial Banking clients operating across the allocated market. To deliver high-quality credit papers, robust financial analysis, and efficient end-to-end credit origination processes while enhancing the overall client experience and contributing to sustainable portfolio growth.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
- First Degree in Business Commerce
Experience Required :
- 5 - 7 years experience in Business & Commercial Banking
- Experience in credit analysis, commercial lending, or related areas with a demonstrated ability to prepare, analyse and motivate commercial credit applications. Experience with financial modelling, property valuation concepts, and deal appraisal. Exposure to Offshore lending or multi-jurisdictional financial systems advantageous.
Key Outputs :
- Partner with the Origination Manager and RMs to structure debt solutions to ensure deals are bankable, aligned to client needs and the bank’s credit appetite, thereby improving approval probability and client satisfaction.
- Participate in deal discussions/negotiations by providing analytical input and risk considerations to enable sound commercial decision‑making and ensure deal structures are sustainable and within risk appetite.
- Assist in drafting terms sheets, pricing proposals, and transaction summaries to facilitate timely engagement with clients and internal stakeholders, accelerating the deal cycle and supporting competitive positioning.
- Support due diligence processes across vanilla and semi-structured lending solutions to identify and mitigate early transaction risks, ensuring high‑quality credit submissions.
- Prepare high-quality, well-motivated credit proposals for new and existing clients to drive efficient decisions, reduce credit returns, and enhance the bank’s reputation for strong credit governance.
