Job Description
To ensure delivery of high-quality software products by co-ordinating the entire testing process, including test plan design, test case creation, test automation and test reporting.
- Manage and maintain robust quality assurance processes, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and standard
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design comprehensive test plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and document test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications.
- Oversee the execution of tests, analyse test results and identify and report defects using the appropriate defect tracking tools.
- Provide regular reports and metrics on test progress, coverage and quality to stakeholders.
- Implement, manage and maintain test automation frameworks
- Ensure stability of the systems environment and customers so to gain trust in the Bank’s product offering.
- Provision of Support for Core Banking and Peripherals systems
Qualifications
- First Degree IT and Computer Sciences from a recognised Institution
- 3-4 years exxperience and knowledge of principles, concepts and techniques of software testing. Hands-on experience in managing test cycles. Working knowledge of QA tools like Jira. Knowledge of test automation concepts and tools.
- 2 years experience in extraction and preparation of data for use in testing.
- Ability to project and anticipate resource utilisation by trend analysis and knowledge of industry standard
