Job Description

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with teams across Transaction Banking Business, CIB Operations, Finance and IT to identify, investigate, report on and timeously resolve cash reconciliation breaks.

This role offers a comprehensive view of the end-to-end trade lifecycle for Transaction Banking products (including Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, and Structured Trade Finance), with a key focus on analyzing reconciliation discrepancies between theoretical and actual cash flows.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the automation and optimization of manual reconciliation processes, leveraging tools such as Intellimatch.

Qualifications

Qualification required

  • CA(SA) / BCom Finance

Experience required

3-4 years

  • Process automation
  • Demonstrated experience of process automation within a finance function. Working knowledge of “new” technologies like Alteryx, Power BI.

5-7 years

  • A thorough understanding and working experience of the rules and principles of good governance and risk management pertaining to Reconciliations, related products, processes, procedures and policies. A good understanding of accounting principles and account structures.
  • Relevant recons knowledge and experience, with an in-depth understanding of systems, processes and procedures to perform recons.
