Job Description

As Rehabilitation and Recovery Manager , you purpose  is to review, build and design of collections strategies and the people and processes required to execute the strategy and day to day management of the Recoveries and Rehabilitation department.  This will include support to the PPB/BCB  Head Of Credit with impairment performance management including rehabilitation of NPL names , via adequate collections capabilities and systems to manage and reduce impairments by minimising provisions raised and remaining within Risk Appetite.

Experience Required
Rehabilitation and Recoveries
5-7 years

Monitor and control the Early, Late Stage Arrears, Non-performing Loans and Recoveries. Monitor and Control the adherence of the charge off policy.

 Account segmentation and prioritisation of delinquent queue management.

Train and apply tactical solutions in Vendor Management and DCA’s.

Ability of liase with Legal team and follow up with litigation matters.

Sale and execution of Properties in possession, repossession of Assets, Auctioning of Assets(valuations) and shortfalls and losses.

Understanding of distressed loan assessment techniques for rehabilitation purposes.

Some insight into of the control of bad debts and laid down criteria in respect of law costs, interest in suspense and notional interest, routine and accounting procedures.

Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders with well developed verbal and written communication skills; administrative experience with computer literacy, including MS Office with an understanding of the Bank's products and types of collateral.
