Job Description

Reporting to the Head, Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), the Business Manager role is a central point for managing the control environment for the CIB Business, ensuring strategic and operational excellence. The candidate’s key responsibilities will be to provide executive support to the Head CIB and key stakeholders in implementing business strategy, managing financial performance, adhering to governance standards and proactively managing risk.

Qualifications

First Degree required: Masters Degree will have an added advantage
 

Experience Required

1-2 years’ experience in business management/business support

  • Broad understanding of business operating models and client engagement models
  • Ability to establish networks inside and outside an organisation together information and influence key decision making.

Key Job Functions

  • Overall Strategy: Implementing business strategies in tandem with the Head CIB and key stakeholders.
  • Business Management/Financial Performance: Overseeing quality submissions of business plans, analysing financial and performance data, and leading initiatives that drive financial growth.
  • Business Administration/Presentation: Coordinating data input from various sources, conducting in-depth research, preparing strategic presentations, and supporting key committee activities.
  • Proactive Risk Management: Reinforce operational resilience & agility within the CIB risk appetite framework & parameters.
