Job Description
- To proactively promote a relationship-based offering through a primary point of contact, which meets the client’s expectations by providing them with personalised financial solutions in line with the Customer Value Proposition.
- To provide a relationship-based offering which meets customer expectations both on a personal and business level by ensuring that personalised service levels are maintained, and cross-sell opportunities are maximized, while ensuring strict compliance with laid-down risk management controls and credit procedures.
- Proactively promote a relationship-based offering through a primary point of contact, which meets the client expectations by providing personalized financial solutions in line with the client value proposition.
- Adhere to sound account management principles for optimal credit portfolio management execution (i.e., reduced excesses,unauthorised overdrawn accounts and overdue reviews).
- Adherence to required compliance, legislative, regulatory, etc. requirements e.g., KYC.
- Advises customers on lending product selection, by offering solutions suited to their specific needs.
- Restructures debt for efficiencies through debt consolidation, thereby bringing a customer’s asset base under one roof.
- Prepare and submit quality credit applications for evaluation and/or approval by Credit, where required or oversees the preparation of credit applications. Conducts credit reviews as and when required.
- Analyse customers’ financial behaviour, current product holding and short to long term financial needs to identify sales opportunities that are mutually beneficial to the bank and the customer.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Business Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or relevant field of study.
Experience Required
- 4 years of relevant experience retail Banking
- Sound knowledge of bank’s laid-down policies and procedures relating to all areas under control.
- Experience in sales, with proven sales track record in the financial service industry.
- Knowledge of all Asset and Liability products (Personal loan, Credit Card, VAF and Home Loans).
- Knowledge of risk management principles and practices.
- Understanding and support of the bank’s multi-channel environment.
- Relationship and People management.
- Experience in preparing and motivating credit applications is essential.
