Automation Engineering Internship Programme

Skills you can learn include: Agile, Data Engineering, DevOps, Machine Learning Engineering on AWS and Azure, Feature Analysis, Data Analysis, Power BI, Computer Science and Java, Integration, Cloud, IBM API Gateway, Power automate, Python, Platform, Office 365, Transactional SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

If you are passionate about Innovation and want to be at the forefront of driving Automation in Standard Bank, this Internship Programme will enable you to grow in this specialised field. Under the mentorship of our Automation Leads you will gain experience regarding End-to-end Automation solutions within various automation streams which include, but are not limited to:

• Project development
• Exploration of data solutioning
• Migration of data from old to new systems
• Smart process, Rapid Desktop and Cognitive automation solutions utilising the latest AI-Machine Learning technologies.
• Various automation platform exposure (Java, Microsoft Power Suite, AWS, Azure and Work fusion).
• Safe Agile methodology
• Automation reporting and Value Management
• Monitoring and securing automations and the Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines

• Completed Tertiary Qualification in any STEM related field (Degree)
• Cloud certification Azure Fundamentals and AWS Practitioner Certificate will be beneficial
• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 30
• Not be registered on any other learnership
• Not be studying at any other institution

Learner Stipend:        R10000 per month plus Student Medical Aid
