Job Description

Manage the sales of the branch and increase the branch’s customer base and revenues

  • Drive a service culture within the sales people in the branch by managing the adherence to the service standards
  • Verify and authorize account opening on the system and approve physical documents within agreed procedures and turn around times
  • Drive adherence to the Sales High 5 standards by the sales staff and allocate individual sales/campaign targets as per set budget
  • Translate sales plan and targets into meaningful sales scorecard at branch/individual level 
  • Accountable for credit and operational risk in account opening and loan processing for the branch (i.e. funded accounts, account segmentation and styling)

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Studies or a related field from a recognized university
  • At least five years of work experience in a sales role and at least one year in managerial or supervisory position
  • Good understanding and knowledge of sales and service strategy 
  • Good knowledge of the retail banking value propositions
  • Knowledge of the banks policies and procedures
