Job Description
We are looking for a Finance & Strategy Manager to join the Cash App Corporate Finance group and help build Cash App, the fastest-growing financial app globally. The Corporate Finance team manages the financial trends of the business, including the annual financial plan, regular forecast, and outlook processes, while helping form capital allocation decisions across our business and providing analytical support to Cash App Senior Management. You will be an important contributor to the strategic decision-making processes by helping scale our investment in Cash Customer Operations and Cash Compliance as well as providing analytical support to our corporate investment strategy.
You Will:
- Work in collaboration with the Customer Operations and Compliance teams to develop investment frameworks, establish and refine performance metrics, and help make strategic decisions that maximize return on investment
- Develop complex financial models using KPIs, and work with business partners to improve forecast accuracy
- Partner with Block finance teams to provide analytical support on investment needs
- Support the financial planning process for your key business partners; including building/maintaining operating and financial models, and managing investment budgets for teams to ensure they have resource allocations to invest properly behind key initiatives
- Report and analyze business results and communicate key takeaways to senior stakeholders, including identifying opportunities or risks
Qualifications
You Have:
- 5+ years of experience, with excellent modeling and business partnership skills, which includes 2+ years experience in an operating role within strategic finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, consulting, investment banking, or similar field
- Excellent proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (you should be prepared for a case study)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information appropriately for different audiences

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $152,100 - USD $185,900
Zone B: USD $141,500 - USD $172,900
Zone C: USD $133,800 - USD $163,600
Zone D: USD $121,700 - USD $148,700
