We are looking for an experienced risk practitioner to help create a modern and efficient Operational Risk framework within a global FinTech!

Reporting to our Senior Director, Operational Risk in the Business Continuity team, you will work across all areas of Operational Risk, and partner with our colleagues in Business Resilience, Privacy, Security, Legal and Compliance to improve our risk and control capabilities, improve the design and operation of controls, and build data-driven, modern and efficient underlying risk processes.

You will:

• Partner with other teams to bring our products to market and provide advice on risk related activities (e.g. risk assessments, controls assurance, incident investigations, operational resilience, issue remediation, risk framework delivery)
• Work with and support our colleagues in Business Continuity and Privacy
• Develop and embed risk related frameworks that are efficient and fit for purpose
• Partner with others to solve risk-related challenges that balances risk and reward
• Support the global implementation of the ERM software tool and perform data-driven risk insights, controls testing and reporting for management

You have:

• 3+ years experience in a relevant or related role (first line of defence and second line of defence experience preferable), either in professional services, technology startup or in a listed business with a focus on risk and controls
• Experience with risk practices and frameworks and GRC tools
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Google Sheets, Tableau or SQL
• Great stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and work cross-culturally
• Good grasp on common technology and cloud architecture concepts
• Experience doing detailed analysis and considering the bigger picture
