We are looking to hire motivated Front-End Engineers who enjoy working closely with the JavaScript framework, Ember.js, as well as the thrill of a successful A/B test and find joy in building out shared components for our partner teams to use. We work closely with product, design and marketing to ensure we’re always taking a holistic approach to how best serve our merchants. As a small team we like to move quickly, and expect engineers to have a large impact on the road-map, product and technology.

You will:

• Write code that is clear, concise, and well-tested

• Integrate with third-party APIs

• Guide the architecture of our front-end systems to ensure quick and stable feature development

• Work closely with other engineers, designers, and product managers to design and build world-class product experiences.

• Own your entire feature end-to-end; including component design, implementation, automated testing, deployment, and roll-out.

You can:

• Write in various flavors of JavaScript (CoffeeScript, TypeScript, ES6) and work with common JS libraries (jQuery, Underscore/Lodash, etc.)

• Demonstrate familiarity with popular frameworks, particularly Ember.js

• Test your code thoroughly using test frameworks (QUnit, Mocha, Jasmine, RSpec, etc.)

• Understand how the web works with experience developing applications 

• Make pragmatic engineering decisions and can make tradeoffs

• Clearly communicate technical requirements through design documents

You have:

• 5+ years of relevant industry (or additional academic) experience

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience 

• Interest in working with other engineering teams and cross functional partners

• Desire to solve hard and engaging engineering problems

• An interest in fostering environments of learning and growth within your team
