Job Description

People are the driving force behind Square's growth and success. The Global Foundational Recruiting team is looking for a Recruiting Manager to lead recruiting for our Counsel organization. This team recruits for the following: Legal Counsel, Compliance, and Financial Crimes Engineering. You will be responsible for managing a high performing team of recruiters and partnering with key hiring leaders to create scalable recruiting strategies that will enable us to produce diverse pipelines across multiple geographies. In addition, you will be responsible for innovation and creating efficiencies across the entire recruiting process to accelerate hiring. This position will report to the Head of Business Recruiting.

You will

  • Partner with the Head of Foundational Recruiting to drive overall success of team including client and team management, headcount prioritization, and building I&D recruiting strategies

  • Mentor a team of recruiters with the goal of successfully positioning each team member to successfully meet their hiring goals and grow their careers at Square

  • Partner closely with Leadership and Hiring Managers to create comprehensive recruiting strategies, with a focus on diversity

  • Use data to evaluate and optimize current hiring processes and present hiring data and insights to leadership

  • Partner with Finance and HR to understand upcoming headcount and develop long-term hiring plans

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process for strategic/leadership roles

Qualifications

You have

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience, including at least 3 years of people management experience

  • 3+ years of experience in business recruiting

  • Experience using data and reporting tools to influence decisions

  • Systems experience (ATS, HRIS, etc.)
